Welcome to the Dysautonomia Homepage- A guide to living with dysautonomia

The Reason for this Website

This web site is designed specifically for YOU,the patient, to understand your medical condition, find adequate medical care, find support if you need it, and to help you explain to friends and family why your life has changed.

Why am I qualified to help you?

Well, the truth is, I was diagnosed with dysautonomia in 1994, after many, many misdiagnoses. I did not have internet access at the time and so did not have access to all the information there is to be found in that way. Creating this website was the best way I could help others like myself!

What happens now?

One of the most important things to do is find a good doctor. You might want to know what constitutes a good doctor... One place you can look for a doctor is:

Another important thing to do, is to have proper support, there are a few support groups that I am aware of (I am sure there are many more) :

Mission Statement

With this website, I hope to provide insight on techniques to cope with being chronically ill. I also want to provide the most up to date medical information I can find, and of course, I want to support you on your journey.

Please get in touch to offer comments .
